Packing Order Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Packing Order does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no server of mine.

What is kept, and where

Three files on your device, in a container the app shares with its widget:

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your trips and what the app has learned sync through your iCloud account, in its private database, so your iPhone and your iPad agree. It is your iCloud, under your own Apple Account, and I have no way to reach it. Signed out, everything stays on the one device.

What leaves your device

Two things, both to Apple:

Apple handles both under its own privacy policy. Neither request carries your name or anything else the app holds, and the coordinate is the place you are going rather than the place you are. Packing Order never asks for your location and has no permission to know it.

The widget and Siri

The widget reads the same files on your device to show the next trip and how much of it is in the bag. Asking Siri what is left to pack is answered on the device from those same files.

What is not collected

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no accounts, no in-app purchases, and no third-party services of any kind.
