Call Your Mom Support
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Call Your Mom shows one number: the days since you last spoke to her. Two buttons reset it, and a prompt once a week reminds you. That is the whole app.

Say what you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. These help:
- the iPhone and the version of iOS on it
- the version of Call Your Mom from the App Store listing
- for a call that did not reset the counter, whether she answered, and roughly how long it lasted
- for a prompt that did not arrive, the day and time you have it set to, and whether Focus was on
What to expect
I write these apps on my own, in my own time, so this is not a support desk. I read everything that comes in. A reply usually takes a few days, and a fix takes longer than a reply.
Things that are working as intended
- The counter did not move after a call that rang out. Ringing her is not speaking to her. Tap “We spoke” if you got her another way.
- “We spoke” takes two taps. It is the one button that can quietly lie to you, so it asks twice.
- There are no streaks and no score. A streak can be lost, and losing one would punish you for a bad week or a funeral. Nothing happens after a call either: no journal, no notes.
- Deleting the app loses the counter. Everything is in one file on the phone, with no account and no iCloud behind it. Reinstalling puts you at the empty state, and one answer puts you back roughly where you were.
- She is always “Mum”. The app never stores her name, so it cannot show it.
