Out of Mind Support

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Out of Mind is a pipe from your mouth to Apple Reminders. Hold your thumb on the stone and say everything that is on your mind. It splits what you said into separate reminders, fills in the dates, places and people you implied, and writes them into Reminders. Then it goes away. It is not another to-do app: there is no list, no inbox and no badge.

Report a problem

Email me at alex@alexecollins.com. You do not need an account anywhere to do it, and I would rather have a short email than nothing.

Say what you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. These help:

What to expect

I write these apps on my own, in my own time, so this is not a support desk. I read everything that comes in. A reply usually takes a few days, and a fix takes longer than a reply.

Things that are working as intended

If the splitting looks crude

Check Apple Intelligence is turned on. With the model there, the app reads the shape of what you said. Without it, the app falls back to its own rules and says nothing about it, which is the right trade at five in the afternoon but does read as blunter. The model needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later.

If nothing reaches Reminders

Out of Mind needs full access to Reminders, and iOS offers no smaller one for writing. Check Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Reminders, then Out of Mind. It writes into your default list, so if that has been changed the slips are in the new one.

Privacy

Out of Mind collects nothing, has no network code, and turns your voice into words on the phone itself. The privacy policy says what that means in full.
